Habibis World is a cultural platform that celebrates the richness and diversity of the Arabic diaspora, creating a space where art, music, culinary traditions and community come together.
Founded by Soufiane Kasri, a creative entrepreneur with Moroccan roots who has lived in Rotterdam since 2006. Habibis World was born from a simple but powerful idea: to share the beauty of Arabic culture with a wider audience and build a bridge of mutual understanding and appreciation. By day a graphic designer, photographer and online marketer, and by night a DJ, Soufiane brings all these worlds together in everything Habibis World creates.
Many North African countries carry rich traditions in art, music and cuisine that often remain underexposed in Dutch society. Habibis World exists to change that, offering a platform where these traditions are celebrated, shared and made accessible to everyone.
We are more than a series of events. Habibis World is a home for creative talent, a place for community building, cultural exchange and celebrating the diversity within the North African and broader Arabic community. Through cultural gatherings and festive nights, we create an environment that is both welcoming and inspiring, where creatives can share their story, art and music, and where visitors can experience the rich traditions and contemporary influences of the Arabic diaspora.
